About Ryan
Hi, Iām Ryan. I grew up in Adams County, Pennsylvania and now live in Arlington, Virginia. I earned a Physics PhD for work modeling the behavior of quantum materials. I am an interested observer of history and politics, and a Notary Public in the state of Virginia.
I recently concluded a stint as a West Virginia Science & Technology Policy Fellow, where I produced twelve Science & Technology Policy Notes on technical issues relevant to the legislature, including on hydrogen development, electric grid capacity and reliability, and uses of artificial intelligence in state government. In my upcoming APS Congressional Science Fellowship I will have the privilege to continue to work on technical policy issues on behalf of the American people.
